Leongatha Art and Photography Show
FIND US
The venue for the Leongatha Art and Photography Show is the Leongatha Memorial Hall. The Hall was built as a memorial to service men and woman of the First World War and opened in 1926. A unique feature of the hall was a series of internal murals depicting battles involving Australian forces during that conflict. These features were unfortunately painted over during maintenance in the 1950s.
Memorial Hall is located at the Corner of McCartin street and Michael Place. The Hall is easy to find as it is located at the centre of Leongatha

Entries for display and judging in the Art Show are received via 'Meeting Room 1' which is accessed from Michael Place. Michael Place is a one way street accessed from the roundabout at the McCartin Street and Bair Street corner.

Public entry to the Art Show is via the laneway between Memorial Hall and the old Mechanics Institute (Historical Society) Building off McCartin Street. This entry point facilitates entry to the Art Show for people with mobility needs. About 15 meters into the lane are the public entry doors.
